Experience sunrise from Pico do Arieiro, one of Madeira’s most spectacular mountain viewpoints, at 1,818 metres above sea level. Watch the first light appear above the clouds and surrounding peaks in a shared small-group experience.
SUNRISE + MEETING POINT
Lower-cost option with pickup and drop-off from one of 9 fixed meeting points across Funchal and Garajau. Ideal if you are happy to make your own way to a convenient pickup point.
SUNRISE + HOTEL PICKUP

Both options include the same sunrise experience and round-trip transport. Sunrise views depend on weather and visibility and cannot be guaranteed. If conditions at Pico do Arieiro are unsuitable, another appropriate viewpoint may be used. Warm clothing and suitable footwear are strongly recommended.

        • This experience is a sunrise viewpoint tour and does not include the PR1 Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo hike.
        • Please bring warm clothing and suitable footwear. Mountain temperatures can be significantly lower than in Funchal before sunrise.
